Accolades from Readers & Artists

Thanks to Actor Jed Brophy from the critically acclaimed Peter Jackson movies – the Lord of the Rings Trilogy and The Hobbit Trilogy – for the kind words on chapters from An Archaic Memory from the blog.

Grateful to Jed Brophy for the encouragement. Favorite Dwarf: Nori 🙂

My journey through Epic Fantasy novels began with Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings. Truly inspiring to hear words of encouragement from Jed who portrays the Dwarf Nori in the Hobbit trilogy and one of the Nazgûl in the Lord of the Rings adaptation.

Had a fun conversation with Actress Jackie Dallas from Stranger Things, Criminal Minds at the San Diego Comic Convention. She’s really into Sci-Fi/Fantasy and checked out my blog at the Convention.

Thanks to Jackie Dallas for her support.

Quick Update.

Ran into Jed Brophy at SDCC this year. It was surreal. I was really happy to meet him in person after his online endorsement for theBrokenDragon.com.

Had a long discussion on my blog content and talked about everything Middle-earth.

Comic Book Artist David Baron stuck around my Art page for a bit at SDCC this year. Huge fan of this work in The Batman Who Laughs. He had some great advice for me along with a lot of encouragement. It was great to connect with one of my favorite artists and share my work.

He took a few moments from his busy schedule to give a quick word of support for theBrokenDragon blog.

I finally got to meet my favorite Epic Fantasy Author Brandon Sanderson at the FanX Comic Convention at Salt Lake City. I have been reading his books for almost 10 years now, and it was surreal talking to him about Cosmere. I got to thank him for his books, and got my copies of Mistborn and Stormlight Archive books signed!

Discussed the Ronin Saga at length with Fantasy Author Matthew Wolf at FanX Salt Lake. He’s a great writer, and I am currently engrossed in his second book – Citadel of Fire. Matthew was also kind enough to provide some insights on writing fantasy, and he checked out my blog and the chapters from my unfinished novel. Got personalized copies of the Ronin Saga.

Author Matthew Wolf also gave a quick shout-out to my blog, and my unfinished Fantasy novel after he checked out my blog.

Artist Jonboy Meyers was really kind and checked out my art!
